Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of iOS applications ("Applications") developed and published by Yasin Güven on the Apple App Store, and explains your privacy rights.

These Applications do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer. No analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party services that collect data are used, and there is no server of mine that receives anything from your device.

Some Applications can optionally connect to a server that you choose and configure — your own WebDAV storage, your own Ollama server, or an IPTV provider you already subscribe to. Those servers are not mine and I have no access to them. See Servers You Configure.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Developer (referred to as "I", "me", or "my") refers to Yasin Güven, an individual software developer based in Kocaeli, Turkey.
  • Applications refers to the iOS mobile apps developed and published by Yasin Güven on the Apple App Store.
  • Device means any Apple device that can run the Applications (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch).
  • Personal Data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • You means the person using the Applications.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

These Applications do not collect any data from you. Specifically, the following is not collected:

  • Contact information (name, email address, phone number, physical address)
  • Location data (precise or coarse)
  • Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or any other identifier used for tracking)
  • Usage data, analytics, or behavioral data
  • Diagnostics or crash reports sent to our servers
  • Photos, videos, or files from your device
  • Health, fitness, or sensitive information
  • Browsing history or search history
  • Financial or payment information
  • Contacts or calendar data

Some Applications do use your camera, microphone or location on the device to do their job — using is not collecting, and Device Permissions says exactly which Application uses what and where it goes.

None of this is transmitted to me: I operate no servers and receive nothing from your device. Data leaves your device only when you have configured one of the optional connections described in Servers You Configure, and then only to the address you entered.

3. On-Device Storage

Some Applications save preferences, settings and app data (such as chosen sounds, display options, last-used configurations, or — in IPTV Player Xtream — the playlist and provider profile details you add) locally on your device using iOS standard storage mechanisms (e.g., UserDefaults) or the Application's own files. This data:

  • Is not sent to me or to any third party — I operate no servers and receive nothing from your device
  • Can be included in your own iCloud or computer backup if you have iOS backup turned on for this device, the same as with any other app on it; that backup belongs to you, is encrypted by Apple, and I have no access to it. You can turn device backup off at any time in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup, or choose not to include it when backing up with a computer
  • Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the Application

IPTV Player Xtream's provider credentials (address, username) are stored this way too; how they are sent to your provider is described under Servers You Configure below — this section is only about what stays stored on your device.

4. Servers You Configure

Several Applications have optional features that talk to a server. In every case the address is one you enter yourself, the server belongs to you or to a provider you already use, and I have no access to it, no copy of your data, and no way to see what you store there.

  • WebDAV sync — Live AI Notes. If you enter a WebDAV address, your recordings and attachments are uploaded to that server so they can sync between your devices.
  • Ollama (on-premise AI) — Live AI Notes and Local Chatbot. If you enter the address of an Ollama server you run, the text you ask to be summarised or discussed is sent there for processing.
  • IPTV and Xtream Codes — IPTV Player Xtream. The app ships with no channels or accounts; it connects only to the playlist or provider credentials you supply.
  • WebDAV file access — DAV Drive. This is the whole purpose of the app: it connects to the WebDAV server whose address you enter, lists what is there, and uploads or downloads only the files you choose. It provides no storage of its own.

Credentials for these connections are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are sent only to the address you configured. If you configure nothing, nothing leaves your device and the Applications work offline, minus the features that need a server.

Moon Pointer has no such feature.

5. Device Permissions

Some Applications ask iOS for permission to use a part of your device. A permission is a request to use something while you are using the feature; it is not collection. Nothing described below is sent to me, and I operate no server that could receive it.

  • Camera — Moon Pointer draws the Moon's position over the live camera view in augmented reality; PDF Tool uses the camera to scan a document into a PDF; CamGrid shares one device's camera with another. Moon Pointer and PDF Tool make no network calls at all, so their camera images cannot leave the device. CamGrid does send video, but only between your own devices — see below.
  • Microphone — Live AI Notes records audio when you start a recording, and Local Chatbot listens while you dictate. The recording is kept on your device.
  • Speech recognition — Local Chatbot converts your dictation to text with speech recognition configured to run on the device, so the audio is not sent to Apple's servers or to anyone else. Live AI Notes does not use Apple's speech recognition at all; it transcribes with a model that runs on your device, which it downloads once.
  • Location — GPS Speed reads your location to show your speed, and Moon Pointer reads it to work out where the Moon is in your sky. Both use it only while the app is open, and neither makes any network call: the location is used on the device and is not stored by me or transmitted anywhere.
  • Photo library — PDF Tool can read an image you pick to turn it into a PDF, and can save a finished PDF back to your library. It touches only the items you choose.
  • Face ID / Touch ID — PDF Tool can keep your document library behind App Lock. When you turn that on, the app asks iOS to confirm it is you. iOS performs the check and answers only yes or no: the Application never sees your face, your fingerprint or any biometric data, and none of it is stored or transmitted. If your device has no biometrics, or you prefer not to use them, the device passcode works instead.
  • Local network — DAV Drive, CamGrid, Live AI Notes and Local Chatbot can talk to a device or server on your own network, at an address you enter or that the app discovers on that network. In CamGrid, the two devices find each other on your network and connect directly to each other: no relay or discovery server of mine or anyone else's is involved, and no connection to the internet is made.

You can withdraw any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. The feature that needs it stops working; the rest of the Application continues to work.

6. In-App Purchases

Some Applications may offer optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. No payment or billing information is collected, seen, or stored by me. All payment handling, transaction records, and subscription management are governed exclusively by Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

These Applications do not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect user data. The following are not used:

  • Analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
  • Advertising networks or ad SDKs
  • Crash reporting services that transmit data off-device
  • Social media SDKs

The only interaction with Apple's systems is the standard App Store distribution infrastructure, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.

8. App Tracking Transparency

These Applications do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework is not used because there is no tracking to request permission for. Your activity in these Applications is never linked to data from third parties or used to build a profile about you.

9. Children's Privacy

Because these Applications collect no data whatsoever, they are safe for users of all ages, including children. No personal information is knowingly collected from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian with concerns, please get in touch — there is no data to have been collected.

10. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored, there is no data to provide, correct, or delete. However, you may reach out at any time to:

  • Confirm that no personal data is being collected
  • Ask questions about how these Applications work
  • Request clarification about this Privacy Policy

If you are located in the EU/EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, those rights apply to any personal data held about you — and none is held.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Applications change in ways that affect data practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Please review this page periodically.
