Parent Controls · Android

Privacy Policy

Parent Controls uses the parent’s Google account sign-in on Android. The service receives the verified parent email address and a summary derived from the account identifier. It stores family and device identifiers and entitlement information.

When remote control is enabled, the relay service hosted by Hetzner in Germany processes connection and device metadata. This can include the family/device identifiers, connection information, and the package name of the app in the foreground on a child device. Control content is end-to-end encrypted; the relay cannot read that content. The service can process relay metadata needed to route connections.

Google Play processes purchases. The service receives purchase and entitlement information needed to verify access. Authorized administrators may access account, family/device, trial, and entitlement summaries for support or security operations. The management panel does not show children’s rules or encrypted message content.

Account deletion requests are handled by email. Account details and associated account, family/device, trial and entitlement records are subject to deletion. An email-free account-identifier summary may remain to prevent repeated trials; its retention period has not been determined. Purchase or accounting records may also need to be retained. Local device data, active relay sessions, logs and backups are not described here as fully deleted because their deletion behavior has not been confirmed.
